watching: General Hospital circa 1980. Monica just had Rick’s baby (AJ, the man who Sonny later killed for no reason). They want to get married, but there are issues. Jeff Webber wants to married Anne (so they can later spawn the horrid Elizabeth), but they have to wait. He just decided to put Heather in the hospital, but she’s coming home for the holidays which makes Diana (adoptive mother of Stephen Lars/Steve). I’ve seen the whole progression (over just a handful of episodes) of the terrible night between Laura and Luke and the Disco, and the fall out from that. Luke and the mob. Roy dying in Bobbie’s arms. Luke not understanding why Laura was afraid to be alone with him. Today I watched that epic fight when Scott goes to the yacht to stop Luke’s wedding to Jennifer Smith by killing him. Sadly I don’t think there are a lot of episodes from Beacher’s Corners days, but I’ll keep watching. it’s the best show on tv right now.
reading: I’m putting off starting something new till I’m on vacation. I think I’m going with book 5 of the Percy Jackson series.
eating: Whatever lame things I can throw together. There’s a lot going on around here, and we’re all trying to avoid eating anything from a restaurant right now. There have been some lame dinners, but luckily Danny is happy with about anything. I have appreciated that from him a lot over the years.
missing: My best Disney friends! Adam, Monica and Dianne - I’m going to see them all within the next week. Oh my goodness I am going to hug them so hard. I can not wait!
planning: The packing, and the last minute details.
loving: My dogs! Daisy and Spike are silly little fluff balls and I love them so much.
wearing: Still, too many clothes. My feet long to be free.
listening to: I found a bunch more Doctor Who podcasts. That’s all I’ve been listening to. When Alan's here we've been working on building a playlist made up of music be both really like. It's fun, and challenging.
thinking about: My mom in the hospital. She has pneumonia and it seems like it’s taking far too long for her to get better. I’m worried about leaving the state while she’s still in the hospital (surely she’ll be home by then, right?), and I don’t like it that she has to feel so badly.
dreaming: Of sunshine and water.
working: I shot a wedding a couple weeks ago and I’ve been working on sorting those photos. I both love and hate the post production part of that. It was fun though and I was happy I got to do it!
weather: On the day we leave for Florida the high here is going to be 38 (but we’re leaving in the dark of the morning so it won’t be close to that). In Orlando, the high is going to hit 81. How do you dress for that?
