Tonight's American Top Forty is from 1978. Right now it's "Kiss You All Over" at number 11. That song was way too dirty to me when I was 12. I might have kind of liked it, but the dirty part would have ruled it out. All over? Seriously? Yikes. Now it's Donna Summer with "Last Dance". Some of my best friends from those days are my Facebook friends now. One of the best things about Facebook was finding my grade school friends. I love you guys. I love you other friends too. I'm just saying.
So yeah. The day after tomorrow. I can't stand to talk about it too much. I'll say I think I'm really close to ready and hope I didn't just jinx it. I'm so excited I can barely exist. I just want to get on with it. Good parts. Bad parts. Whole thing. I'm just tired of waiting and ready to jump it.
Alan really doesn't like the disco songs I have to say. He kinda thinks they're worthless. He's crazy.
Hannah had to say goodbye to her beloved Forrest tonight. It was very sad. It breaks my heart to see my baby girl that sad. We better have a very good time to make up for that.
Anyway, today was a lovely Saturday. The weather was even kind of nice. Danny and I made breakfast for everyone. I helped Hannah figure out some packing issues. Forrest came over. Alan tried to mow the grass but the mower broke. I made tacos for everyone for dinner because mexican is going to be the food I miss the most while we're gone. We're even having tacos again tomorow night, but I'm not making them. Taco John is.
I'm thinking about a mango smoothie. I think it's becasue there's a Spangles ad on about them But they do sound very nice. Maybe I'll have one tomorrow, but then again it might not sound so tasty tomorrow.
So Alan's spending the night again which means no Harry Potter again. I've been listening to it in the morning when I walk though. It helps it not be so boring.
Oh! Number 9 is Andy Gibb with "Everlasting Love". I love Andy Gibb. This song is on my phone even. Yay. Ok I'm going to go lay down and turn off the lights and listen to the countdown like I was 12.
